I’m glad I don’t live in the time when people sacrificed animals to the gods. I can just imagine walking with my trusting goat from the countryside to the big city.
When we got to the big city, he’d be amazed at the skyscrapers three stories tall, and he’d be so proud to be walking beside his human, who had cared for him when he was sick, and had chased away the wolves, and had always been so good to him.
As we waited in line at the temple, the goat would really be amazed by the magnificent marble building that was four or five stories tall, with all those steps leading up to it.
Then when he saw the people going in with their animals but coming out alone, and he smelled the blood, and heard the occasional screams of the animals being sacrificed, he’d figure out what was going on. Then he’d look at me and say, "You motherfucker."
Dr. Drew interviewed Scott Adams recently, and Scott Adams mentioned the absurdity that Republicans went to overthrow the government on Jan 6, but they neglected to bring their guns. On the first or second anniversary of the event, that alleged oversight made the narrative appear absurd to me, so I made a "video" that was supposed to be audio from January 6, captured on a video camera from which the lens cap had not been removed. While I was waiting on hold to talk with a human at the IRS, I decided to put some food out for the dogs. I set the full bag of dog food on a chair, and walked away to get the bowls. When I turned around I saw the bag slowly tipping over, spilling much of its contents onto the floor. Fortunately I had help cleaning it up.

If the main points of this theory are correct, it will be the largest paradigm shift in physics in several centuries. If history is any guide, I'm not likely to live long enough to see it become adopted, but participating with several AI in bringing the theory this far has been a great privilege.
